May 10: Biking for Happiness and Health - Cycling is a low-impact exercise for all ages that can improve cardiovascular health and overall endurance. Plano offers nearly 100 miles of hike-and-bike trails, for safe and fun outings by foot or bicycle. Learn the cycling basics from an experienced cyclist with the Plano Bicycle Association, including what to wear, how to select the right bike, where to ride in Plano, and more.

June 14: Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resources - Learn the warning signs of Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and discover resources and programs for living well. Presented by the Alzheimer's Association and Plano Public Library.

July 12: Dementia-friendly Programs in North Texas - Socializing, sharing and collecting memories, and enjoying informal conversation are important strategies for individuals experiencing dementia and their families to combat isolation and depression. Hear about local programs from these North Texas organizations: Meadows Museum, Plano Public Library, The Wellness Center. Moderated by the Alzheimer's Association.

August 9: Staying Social - The importance of positive social interactions and relationships is a key component of emotional wellness as we age. Learn about the Wellness Center for Older Adults and “The Front Porch”, an excellent opportunity to develop friendships, experience positive socialization and share life stories within supportive relationships. Explore the stages of human development AFTER 50 and how our life experiences influence our sense of self.
