Hi Sheila - this is Blake with WebTPA. The best way to respond to that question when a provider asks is that your administrator is WebTPA, but you are using the Aetna Signature Administrators provider network. Most physicians understand this, and this usually clears up their confusion.

I tried registering on Metlife.com per the email instructions but it gives me an error of "unable to authenticate" and I spent 30 minutes on hold with an outsourced tele representative and it didn't fix the problem. Is there any other instructions to registering?

So, the monthly 'premium' we pay goes into a city fund? And the city pays the insurance portion of doctor bills?

Michelle Long, you can print additional cards, there are instructions for both WebTPA and MetLife in the Benefits Guide on pg 20 called ID Cards.

So when we are completing patient paperwork at our doctor's office do we list our insurance as Aetna or do we list it as WebTPA? I thought it was Aetna replacing United Healthcare, right or not?

Doris, we recommend on forms you put WebTPA/Aetna Signature Administrators and give the provider your ID card. Most providers know what this means. If you run into any issues, have the provider call the number on the card and our team will explain this to them.

I found when registering on WebTPA you have to add -01 to your member number.

I have a small amount left in FSA that should normally roll over into the new year's card. How will that happen if the FSA accounts are "new"? Is UHC going send the amt to diversified benefits?
